Great hotel with its 24-hour reception, comfortable bar/lounge area, and in-room breakfast options. On my first stay, the staff kindly helped me with directions. I'll be back for a weekend getaway!

The provided breakfast was generous with pastries and bacon and eggs, as example. Amazing location near attractions we wanted to visit - a museum and a cathedral👍😀

The hotel is beautifully located near the train station. While the room was clean and had a stunning view, noise from outside was disturbing, and the breakfast left much to be desired. A lovely stay despite a few drawbacks.

The breakfast was delicious, the size of the room and bathroom was great. The staff were extremely helpful.
There is no air con in the room which makes it uncomfortably hot but the hotel did put a large fan to help with this issue

Unique base for 1 night with active and best staff apart from the member of the Concierge team. The a double room we stayed in was high standard with view to Yorkminster and the bathroom, as example. Incredible location, generous breakfast at £14. Near a railroad station, easy to get around.

Luxurious bathrooms with Elemis toiletries added a touch of elegance.
The chairs and carpet in the room could use a thorough cleaning.

The breakfast had a good selection of dishes, everything you would expect from a good hotel. The service at breakfast was good and frienflyII
It was a pity that there was no dinner service available during our stay. Photographs of the dining room look lovely. I expect it was due to staff shortages as nearly every restaurant and bar in York was advertising for staff.
